Dealer put them on for me. I think I’m gonna take them off.

It's just cheap china crap imitation leather, not the rich Corinthian leathers that I am accustomed to.
They are certainly something I'd never buy, but of course they were included in the "Installed Packages & Accessories" for $25 so I had no choice.
I read that Lexus will deliver 30,000 GX550s to the US in 2024.
If they profit $23 on each of the B.S. key glove mandatory accessories, then that adds up to $690,000. That ain't bad.

This is why I want to make my GX a little different Because this time next year, it will be line the 460s.....they will be everywhere. I've had Tundra, Tacoma and 4Runner TRD Pros and never upgraded the tires or suspension. But I'm going to do it on this one. Y'all might appreciate my new plates.....

I'm pretty happy with them compared the leather ones. I also have the soft rubber covers, but never put them on.

Same. As it is I'm not used to having a key in my pocket (over a phone), and this behemoth makes it bigger. I mainly use the key card.

That leather fob .. another option I wish I'd deleted. Most awkward fit. If it was from Amazon, I'd send it back.

Agreed. I love almost everything about the truck. Just weird to me how they landed on such a terrible design for this. But if that’s the worst of my worries then I’m ok with that.
I also agree that the optional leather key glove is a poor design! However, I just realized we’ve all been installing these key fob cases incorrectly! There is a hidden elastic strap that holds the fob in place. It’s not perfect, but much improved!

Yes, I had the strap in place and that is why it fit better that the original poster's fob.
I bought the rubber/plastic one in the Amazon link about and it is very nice. They key fob cover is now shiny and slick and slides in & out of your pocket. Don't know if I really needed to spend $13 on it but what the hell....

I was almost certain I had the strap on originally. I slipped the cover on again and put on the strap and same result. I’m just going coverless now.
No thats how they are. Useless accessory
