Anyone thinking about swapping out to factory TRD Pro wheels?

These are from the 2024 Tacoma TRD Pro. 18x8 Part #: PTR56-35242-F1

If you keep the TRD pro caps you should also be required to put a "widdle wadder" on the back.

In all honestly I'm considering the TRD pro wheels from the '24 Tacoma. Probably going to de-badge the rear and keep the TRD pro caps.... gotta keep'em guessing.

I hope someone does this and can confirm they fit. It should work in theory, biggest difference I notice is these are 8” wide, compared to oem GX550 wheels at 7.5”. I want to get these Tacoma TRD Pro wheels with 265/70/18 tires (same size as Overtrail) when I get my allocation.

I'm super interested in the BBS tundra wheels. they look great on that guys earth LC250. I messaged him and said there is no poke. Thats the real issue for me is I don't want any poke on my GX for obvious reasons of shooting rocks on the side of my car. Post up if you order them.

Also I'd be down to pay for 3D printed caps if someone made them, I hate the red on the TRD

I prefer the BBS tundra wheels as well, but once I researched the much higher price and heavier weight compared to the 24 Tacoma TRD Pro wheels, I started leaning that direction.

The weight on the BBS forged Tundra TRD wheels are 28.7lbs. I'm guessing that's probably lighter then the stock wheels?

They are expensive, but I've found quite a few take offs on FB Marketplace.

I ordered the 2024 Tacoma TRD Pro. 18x8 Part #: PTR56-35242-F1 and Toyo Open Country AT3’s in 265/70/18. Turned out amazing!

Hi all, we swapped the LC 250 20" rims and tires with a set of the 23' Sequoia TRD pro rims and tires noted above. Couldn't stop grinning once they were on. TRD pro tires are Wildpeak AT3 with the same diameter as stock 265 60 20 tires. Saved a total 6 lbs per wheel over the 20" setup. I had given up on the BBS TRD pro option due to price but FB marketplace saved the day at $1800 with like new rims and very lightly used tires. Paid another $250 for a matching spare with a bit more tire wear. Will see about sizing up on tires once we get some trail miles in.
