Welcome to the forum! I use to live in the Lake Conroe area for about 12 yr's and my wife couldn't stand the heat. So we moved to CO. But, now in SC.

I highly recommend new WeatherTech front windshield sun screen for GX 550 if you live in a hot climate. I have used for 3 weeks and it fits and works well.
