my bmw had this and it was a nice feature to walk up and it unlocks or walk away and it locks without touching the fob. I would not expect this feature on a GX

Pickup my OT+ yesterday (incognito over black). Definitely a head turner. It was at Long Beach for approx. 4 weeks but once it got released, it was here fast. There were 5 other GX550 ready for pick up in the delivery bays yesterday at west side lexus in Houston. Pros - love the seating...

I would give it a 6 or 7 out of 10. Not as powerful and deep as the bowers / wilkins in my previous x7 especially at lower volumes. But it will do

Is it normal for the front camera to turn on and take up the entire display screen every time I slow down and come to a stop ? If not, how do I turn that off ??

Houston dealer texted me today that my GX OT+ is leaving LB, CA with an outside date of 7/27. Car was in LB, CA for 5 ish weeks. We shall see how the landing of this thing plays out the next couple of weeks. Nothing would surprise me at this point.

you can get front massage seats and pano roof in the GX and not the LX gx looks better, imo

texted with salesman this morning. The car is now in Long Beach on QC hold (was originally on hold in Japan). I asked if he was given a reason for delay - says "quality inspection, not uncommon for a launch". He had not hear of the 56 day hold and said "that's pretty specific" regarding the...

If my car was supposed to initally arrive end of June / early July but is on hold in Japan / boat....does this mean it will be delayed 56 days AND then need another 4 to 6 weeks to arrive in Texas ?? Would that mean I am looking at September type delivery ?

My OT+ is supposed to arrive end of June / Early July in and being held either at port or on the boat as well as of last weekend. No mention of the GX550 in that apology letter.

I was initially (when I put my deposit down) told Jan / Feb for delivery, then it moved to June / July. Now possibly August / September. Thinking of just waiting more and getting a 2025.

Test drove a premium yesterday and my dealer showed my on his computer that my OT+ is in Japan either on the boat or at the port and they don't know exactly if this is QC or just have not been updated. Hope to know more in 2 / 3 weeks.
