Yeah I agree, very annoying the towing function does not do that, it did on my BMW X4, maybe we can get the GX configured at the garage for it to do this when put in tow mode.

Has anyone found an after market fuel tank to replace the standard 80lt? Here in Australia you won’t get far without 110 lt especially with a petrol v6 as thirsty as this one. I don’t want to replace the spare wheel with a larger fuel tank but looking at options. 😀👍

This sounds like an amazing journey, you should create a you tube channel and showcase how you make the wheels and the installation. Would like to see the bar work you choose, rock rails, also have you considered air filter and snorkel plus a second battery. The 80lt fuel tank is another concern...
