I'm wondering how big you can go on a 460 without changing anything. I was thinking of putting the 33s from my 550 on her's and get bigger tires for mine. But after taking some measurements, I kinda doubt they would even fit on her car.....
My brake noise hasn't happened in a few weeks. I'm at 1700 miles. I noticed the mirror vibration yesterday, but honestly thought it was because it keeps getting popped out in the car wash. Have you noticed the little whistle the mirror makes at low speeds with the driver window down?
This is why I want to make my GX a little different Because this time next year, it will be line the 460s.....they will be everywhere. I've had Tundra, Tacoma and 4Runner TRD Pros and never upgraded the tires or suspension. But I'm going to do it on this one. Y'all might appreciate my new...
I try to just keep mine on my belt in a paddle holster. Keep in mind i'm full time LE. When I'm off, I generally carry a Sig P365 Legion in a low profile Red Hill Tactical ISWB holster. It fits in the cup holder nicely between stops. The cool box is pretty worthless and you already know.
Since I decided not to spend the money on an aftermarket roof rack, I'm going to go against my original thoughts of wearing out the factory 33s before buying bigger tires. Based on what I've read here, I think the Westcott leveling kit and a set of 35" K02s or K03s would give me the look I'm...
The engine alone is worth the trade. I've seen a few LCs on the highway and they look good when they are tricked out. But the 4 banger just isn't any where close to the GX.
I love Atomic Silver and this is our second one in that color. We've bought three vehicles from Park Place, Grapevine. I think you will love it. I've had several Toyota folks drive mine and they have all been shocked by the power of this twin turbo V6.
No doubt that you can cover up the wind noise with stereo or fake engine noise, but I want to be able to carry on a conversation at highway speeds, without yelling!! LOL
Finally had enough of the roof rack wind noise. Pulled off the rack this morning in about 30 minutes. Noise is gone. I'd thought about adding a Prinsu roof rack, but I think I will just hold onto this one and in the "rare" event that I go tent camping and need the rack, I will just throw it...
The main benefit for trading is you only pay tax on the difference between your trade and the cost of the vehicle, rather than the entire cost of the vehicle. For me, had I been able to sell my Denali for 5K more, it would have been a wash. I prefer them to handle all the paper work....
I stopped by a local off road place to see about ordering the Prinsu RR and having it installed. The guy at the counter was all about Rhino-rack for some reason. I didn't care for the way the front looked and it doesn't have a wind deflector.
I'm a little shocked at the lack of responses here. Surely some of you have had a run in with rodents? Personally, I hadn't heard about Toyota using soy based wire insulation until my first check engine light in the Tundra led up to an engine compartment full of half eaten acorns and a $500...
I'm leaning towards the Prinsu RR and a Westcott leveling kit. Two of my good friends both have Prinsu and have been really happy with them...on a TACO and a 4Runner.
I've had mine about three weeks. Best interest rate was through PNC at 6.6%. My wife happens to be a Regional Investment Manager for them. I work for Tarrant County and I suspect the TC Credit Union will beat this rate by enough to refi next summer.
My back yard backs up to a 4 lane city street with a storm drain just on the other side of my privacy fence. Apparently there are a lot of rats in the storm drain, because over the last 10 years, I've had the wires chewed on my TRD PRO Tundra 3 times costing me $500 each time and one time on my...
Just something from the container store. Nothing fancy. Most of what I carry in it i for shooting...ear/eye pro, staple gun, range finder, timer, etc...
