Just follow the manual and do what it says please. If it says change the oil at 10k, then do it. Unless you’re tracking the car or towing everyday (which I highly doubt for a GX) whatever the manual says is what you should do
I moved to Bakersfield about 9 months ago from the Bay Area. I’m going to be getting my GX from the local Lexus dealer in Bakersfield. I wanted to see if anyone has recommendations for ppf installer in the area. I don’t really want to drive back to the Bay Area as LA is much more convenient to...
Sorry this is happening. Sounds like your dealer is giving you a hard time. I would go to another Lexus dealer that’s more easy going and kind to their new customer even though you bought it from a different dealer.
Alternatively if you know a good wheel/alignment shop nearby they might be able...
Pucks and shock extenders. I wonder how much worse it’s going to make the ride. You’re going to lose some degree of articulation. You are ok with cutting up your new vehicle? I get it’s for the look and it does look really cool, but if you are seeking more performance off road, this isn’t it...
Jaos ran a lexus backed LX600 at the Baja last year. They actually use Japanese OEMS for their suspension like KYB. IF you wanted a vehicle to copy, Jaos would be it.
If my new GX wasn't going to be the daily driver for my household I would most certainly take a stripper spec regular Overtrail, but the + has all the creature comforts we desire so we have to pay for that.
Only thing I can think of is ppf. You’d be better off getting the black roof for your overtrail and ppf it. This will protect the paint and have self healing properties. I reckon you won’t be cleaning the roof of your vehicle as often as the other body panels. Ppf has some heat absorbing...
It’s a good suv for the street. Fashionable, good looking, comfortable, modern. It can also be a good adventure vehicle. New bmw v8 will add reliability. Air ride would be a treat to daily. No shame in preferring JLR over Toyota. Get what you like
Aesthetically I’m a big fan of the Lexus RR. It really complements the design language. But I must admit it does sit quite higher than aftermarket aluminum profile alternatives so I’m not surprised it’s causing a lot of noise
My dealer isn’t a high volume one like the dealers in the Bay Area or SoCal. I’m in the Central Valley so I’m still waiting on my allocation unfortunately. I was tentatively going to shop around but ended up deciding to forge a relationship with my local dealer and see how that goes.
Whenever...
I spent time in the premium and it was very comfortable. I have a long torso and longer legs and I felt fine. I was about to sit in the luxury but a salesperson came running saying the vehicle was sold and I couldn’t go inside lol
I like how that looks. Not sure if there’s a hitch receiver on that vehicle. Maybe there’s an illusive part number for this valance that isn’t offered in America
I’m hoping that will be the case. For now if enough people complain about it I won’t be surprised to see a service order go out to dealerships for those who want it fixed
