Welcome to the site @DavidLexus 🍻 The new Land Cruiser seems like a good proposition if you don't need the added luxury that the GX 550 provides or the third-row seating.

I think the 4Runner is just a bit smaller than the Land Cruiser and will only be offered with the new turbocharged 4-cylinder.

It sure does look like fold-flat seats in those screencaps from the video! That would be a major win for the new GX!

Maybe the idea is that Toyota will target the hardcore off-road crowd (Bronco and Jeep) with the Land Cruiser and Lexus is going after the Luxury SUV market? 🤷‍♂️

It's nice to see how the little differences like the black roof, roof rails, fender well trim, and more off-road oriented wheels and tires make such a large visual impact between the two trim levels.

Welcome to the forum! It sounds like your 4Runners have been super reliable and you've gotten a ton of miles out of them. Have you thought about waiting for the new 4Runner that is due out soon or are you looking for a little more power, room, and luxury from the new GX 550?

I'm leaning towards Overtail+

It's hard to beat the performance you get out of Porsche and BMW SUVs! It sounds like you got a solid 100k miles out of it before it started giving you issues, which is better than I was expecting.

I think it's a bummer that the Black Onyx Roof is only an option for the Overtrail trim and only in Atomic Silver, Incognito, Nori Green Pearl, and Earth exterior colors. I think this color will look really good with the black interior with the Nori Green trim.

This color is great as well! It's going to be really hard to pick my favorite. I think it will depend on the trim level and wether or not you can live without the third-row seating.

Welcome to the forum! What were some of the issues you had with your X5 if you don't mind me asking? I've looked at getting one myself in the past but always seemed to go a different route.

Earth looks good out in the wild with the black accents and the Overtrail trim. I can't wait to see one in person!

As of right now, I think the Lexus GX550 with the Overtrail package is going to be tough to top! I can't wait to see what off-road chops Toyota gives the Land Cruiser though.
