If you have ever had a cap-less system you would definitely wonder why just as I have. The convenience of a cap-less is so nice it was the first thing I complained about on the GX I bought for my wife when I filled it for her. I like simplicity and speed no messing with a cap.
The Hendrix Group Lexus dealerships were hit. This should not affect the vehicles coming to the dealerships from the manufacturer. If the vehicle is at the dealership it could delay the sales paperwork to the customer however.
All the reviews say they ride rougher than the Premium + and especially the Overtrail. Less tire cushioning. Nothing wrong with them as I prefer the look myself.
I don't think that's right as Lexus makes the engine in Japan and the US. I watch a YouTube video with the guy touring the Lexus plant discussing it being make with the same equipment in Japan and US and that is why the defect is happening on engines make in the US Toyota plant as well as the...
The Toyota/Lexus brand is too important for manufacturer not to step up and take care of any problems. I think there could be an inconvenience to your time if you have to take the vehicle in for warranty work. I have been through the same thinking process as this is a long-term car acquisition...
There are many shadey dealers around the country that do that because it is an additional profit center. Bad business practice but many dealerships are just that way. They can do this on vehicle models that are in short supply because you do not have other options. Stay away from them. To...
My GX550 is on hold at the port for about a month now. I was told yesterday the vehicles were held due windshield wiper motors. No indication of how long. Has anyone heard this one?
You mean replace the engine. Once it has ran, as in factory testing, the damage could be done. The only way to know is if engine is pulled and main bearing observed for debris damage.
The computer predicts the estimated mileage based upon your average history of mpg. The only way you would get 400+ is if you have only driven highway miles and obtained that historic average.
Numerous YouTube reviews indicated that the Overtrain rides the best of them all on the pavement due to the tires and significantly better than the Luxury Plus with the 22" rims.
Not true as mine is on hold in port for inspection as I type this. No indication at this point if there is a problem but they are being inspected so obviously they were not cleared in the manufacturing process before they left Japan.
Some GX's are affected as my is in port and delayed for inspection to see if it is one that is affected. I also read on a blog that some GX's are included in the recall. My dealer said the GX's that were coming to them in Spokane so far were cleared but I have not heard if my is clear yet as...
Go to the Motor Oil Geek YouTube channel. He is a Certified Lubrication Specialists. He has scientific proof on why to change your first time oil change at 500 miles etc. He does an oil analysis to prove his point. He does this on a brand new Toyota. I plan on following this protocol on my...
Yes our growth has been more than I care to see. Quality of life is not what it use to be. I know growth is suppose to be good but I like the old Montana best. No one oh the hiking trails, no one on the rivers etc. I guess it couldn't last forever. Good luck on your new vehicle if we can...
I attended the Barrett Jackson Auction in January 2024. They had several models and they were not locked. I decided to buy one after I sat in several of them. I hope to get mine in May or June.
That is my exact conclusion. I also decided that I would probably enjoy the twin turbo V6 driving experience much better than the hybrid and the additional cost of a hybrid would never be paid back by fuel savings.
