After adjusting EQ settings, leaving surround “on” I find the base system to be more than adequate. Low end bass is lacking a bit below 65hz but front sound stage is excellent and focused out over the hood where it belongs.
Here’s mine. Built during construction on our new home in 2021. Sprayer is an AR-630 w/auto on at the wand. Hot/cold water supply and pre filtered / softened at main equipment room in basement. Full length garage drain inside the garage which is fully climate controlled. Winters are harsh in my...
Accordion’d the filter at my first change. 1446 miles. Only one section had minor metallic debris and minimal RTV throughout. Under very heavy magnification there is a fair amount of shiny particles throughout but nothing outside normal for the first 1000k. Very well made in JAPAN filter I might...
65/70 mph for 1400 hwy miles and roughly 50 city miles at 0-40 mph. Currently sitting at 21.1 mpg and has not been reset since picking it up new this past Thur.
Welcome. I was in a similar situation with my GX purchase. Been through a mirade of full size trucks and the new Bronco. Wanted something to hang onto for the long haul. Came close to pulling the trigger on a low mileage "21" LC Heritage Edition with the 5.7. In the end the updated interior...
Something else to consider on the OT/+ models is the massive alumnimum skid plate that does act as a frame stiffener. Removed mine yesterday for the first oil change and was a bit taken back by it's size and thickness. This no doubts adds significant rigidity to the frame which is mentioned in...
Picked up my OT on Thursday last week and drove 3 legs home from SoCal to Wa. state. Spent Sat./Sun. in Boise for parent’s weekend with multiple short trips around the city before yesterday’s final leg home. Observations/opinions regarding “vibration”. Took 2 videos I’ll post shortly…...
My trip total was 1546 miles over 4 days. Just ticked over from 20.9 to 21 mpg coming into my home town of Spokane WA. We spent a day and half in Boise for parents weekend with multiple short trips in stop-n-go and only noticed 2 tenths drop. I can't ever see dropping below 20 mpg in mine. I...
Thank you for the heads up on those and no, ended up passing. I'm a bit of a gearhead and do pretty much everything on my own. I have a lift in my garage/shop and retired so it didn't have the same value proposition in my case.
Picked it up mid morning and ran the first leg home from SoCal to St. George Utah. Started with 3 miles on the odo. 367 miles avg. 20.2 with a fair amount of climbing. Now that I’m in the winners circle I plan to wear clothing for the remainder… Too many weird looks at the pump.
Appreciate it. My sales guy is Brett and I’ve had several conversations with Patrick. He’s been circling my wagon on extended warranty and service plan for the past week! Price keeps dropping $1k every other day :ROFLMAO: Everyone’s been great so far.
My original thought was this has to be related to the shocks/AVS/valving. If they went stiffer on the OT in anticipation of overland use they might have over done it on initial 1” of travel.
I grew up in Glendale. This explains your horrendous mpg’s…
“starting your car 5 minutes early to let it cool down, and if you're parked and waiting for something like the kids to get out of school, you have to have the engine running with AC blasting or you'll roast to death”
Until someone like you gets together with someone experiencing it, it’ll remain a mystery. Service Techs have both denied and agreed there’s an issue with owners having it. Could be about perception in the end.
I was the one who posted that pic and it was clipped from a video of the Tundra brake rotor TSB. The gold dot indicates “updated part” and is located on the horizontal flat area between the disc and hub. See pic.
You’re miles ahead if you can pay cash. I sell my vehicles rather than trade and have always done better than trade in value + tax savings by a few grand. I also keep impeccable service records and pamper my vehicles. In the past negotiating price while offering to finance (then pay it off the...
I'm gunning for your record next week when I pick mine up from the dealer in SoCal and driving home to WA State. I'll be wearing just my underwear and have nothing but a toothbrush for cargo. No roof rack stock OT, 150 psi...
