I was looking at these and hoping last night. My fiance is short so I need the step part of the step sliders. I have had the tube style in the past and I difinitely like the steps better.
IF dealer prices bother you, don't use the dealers. These are toyotas, they aren't mercedes or BMW's or Range rovers. Lots of people fix them, they are made to be fixed. I had an audi that a headlight went out on. It was $1200 to replace. Luckily an aftermarket was available for $900.
The prepaid maintenance at our dealer ended up saving 10% on today's prices, but when you add in price increases, which supposedly they had 2 last year, would save you more. It is a great deal for the dealer. They get your money in advance and basically force you to come in to them for...
I don't mean to call anyone out, but.. This is an open forum, at some point there may well be some people who enjoy stirring the pot. I think some of this stuff has to be taken with a grain of salt. Squealing breaks are easy to know if it happens or not. But when does a bumpy ride become an...
Just so you know this isn’t a thing. There is no way you can tell 1/2” difference between an 8’ wide car. If it is more than that Lexus will fix it, but really it is almost always non level surface, either you taking the picture or the surface the car is parked on.
And mine rides fine. I really think there are some people who have expectations that this car won't meet, and some people who have an actual issue with the vehicle. Mine certainly doesn't seem to have any vibration issue, and the breaks don't squeak yet, so far so good. If you ride a bunch of...
Picked it up today. Great experience buying it. Drove it up the highway up to 90 with no vibration whatsoever. Drives great. Can see some hood flutter if I look for it, partly made worse because the sun sort of reflects on the hood which makes it a bit more noticeable, maybe slightly worse...
No I think range rovers long term reliability and quality are legendarily bad. Vs lexus Toyota best in the industry. I also think rr part and service cost are industry leading high, vs Toyota/ Lexus relatively reasonable. So if I was idiotic enough to ever get a rr again and had any thought...
As we see most electricification isn't selling anywhere near as well as manufacturers thought. Toyota by holding off is probably saving untold millions all the other manufacturers are losing based upon reading the market incorrectly.
A poster in the overtrail vibration section mentioned they replaced hers which did away with both the squeal as well as the vibration in her car. She mentioned her dealership dealt directly with Lexus Japan to get new parts to fix it.
Not much out there yet and not one of the manufacturers I know,. But personally while it looks functional, I agree it looks kinda crass. $80k vehicle, I want it looking professional and bad ass. I’m not going to put big lights on the roof or stickers all over it, and that’s kinda the feel I...
Yes exactly. Without having multliple vehicles at the dealership it is tough to get two together to try it though. I also guess that if someone has one that doesn't vibrate they probably don't frequent the my truck is vibrating thread.
