China version is LC Prado, not Lexus GX, made(assembled) in China I remember. Or what you see probably is the imported Lexus GX, in Europe GX also is 2.4turbo hybrid.
Here the GX and LC are the same car with different setup. GX is more luxury and LC is more off-road.

Bronco is a hit for Ford, 100K+ a year. Toyota should push out the baby Landcruiser first, then GX/LC, which is very expensive.
Nissan had the Xterra before. Who expected the success of Bronco? Not even Toyota.

Is the engine made in US or Japan? I know the V6 twin turbo engine in Tundra is made in Toyota Alabama plant. Unlikely they export the engine from US to Japan and ship the whole car back, my guess.
I have the same thought. On GX website 23mpg on highway and 17 combined. Should it be better than Tundra? basically the same engine and transmission. Tundra is bigger and more drag on highway, and probably is heavier. Maybe because of different all wheel drive system?
