I really love the White with Black trim on the OT> This is mine when we were at Factory Butte last month. I had just landed the drone after doing sunset flight and grabbed this shot as the last light was fading.
I had just landed the Drone and grabbed a shot with Factory Butte in the back ground after a sunset flight. The GX OT got us there and back safely. Factory Butte is just out side of Hanksville UT. The drone is the Sony Airpeak S1 mounted with the Sony A7R4 with the 85m f/1.8 GM lens. I will...
I did a front wrap full hood and front fenders then ceramic on every thing and tinted the windows for 4K with all Xpel products. 10K sounds a bit high.
I am really loving the lift and the stiffer suspension, no more leaning on corners, turning or changing lanes. The GX handles much better over all. The front is 1.5" higher and the back is .75" higher measured from the center of the wheel hub to the lower fender.
It was not available at the time I ordered and I do not use the cool box for cool items so it was not a big deal for me. I wanted the storage box but had no choice since all gx’s came with cool box option from the port dealer. The org tray fits my needs for storage.
I ordered the org tray from Brian, It fits perfectly and holds the small items that were at the bottom of the cool box. I now have quick access to them and do not have to dig for them any more. Thanks!
Thanks for sharing the process of getting it printed. I pulled down the model but did not know about the site to get things printed if you do not own a 3d printer.
Yea, some one at the port dealer thought the cool box was the best thing ever and every one should get one. I was told by my local dealer all units they were receiving had the cool box.
I found out yesterday the Westcott designs kit is licensed by Toyota and you can purchase it from a Toyota dealer as an officially supported after market lift. The others I do not know about. This is a video from westcott designs on the diff types of lifts and why they did the one they use.
Congrats!! if you have not looked at it you may want to look into the Westcott designs leveling lift, It brings up the front to match the back and firms up the ride a tad so it does not seem like it is going to tilt over taking a corner or changing lanes and give a slight lift for better...
I have just over 1600 miles on my OT and I have noted my breaks sequel when reversing when it is damp, on humid mornings or after washing. After it drys out / heats up I do not hear any more noise.
I just returned from the off road shop where they installed the Westcott designs leveling lift. The front is 1.5" higher and the back is .75" higher measured from the center of the wheel hub to the lower fender. While it does not seem much the GX now has that "Stance" of an off truck ready to...
My stock OT is 22.5" on the rear and 21" on the front from the center of the wheel hub to the bottom of the fender. I will be installing the Westcott leveling lift next week and will post the post lift measurements. The front is 1.5" lower than the rear using the wheel hub center for...
I have the OT have just over 700m. We had a prem + on order but really wanted the OT and was able to get one on a canceled order. The OT I have does not have the vibration that many talk about and I really like the wheels / tires on the OT and the back trim. I plan on doing some off-roading...
I am at 650 miles on my OT and have an avg 15.7 with hwy and country road driving. On hwy only I got 18+ which is about what I was getting on my 2013 GX 460.
Welcome! Thanks for sharing you experience so far. I too upgraded from a 2013 GX to the overtrail in white. I am scheduled to have the Westcott engineering's leveling lift install in a week or so and will keep the current 18" rims and AT tires for now. There are companies producing spacer...
I like white, being down here in Texas in the oven most of the year white does not get a hot when baking in the summer sun. Here is my 2013 GX460 next to the new GX550. The 2013 GX460 still looks good, but It does need a wash...
