Just put Faulken AT4W’s on 285/75/17 (34.1” which is bigger than Toyo and BFG in that size) and they fit not rubbing. +35 offset. Removed the plastic behind the front wheels before I did this as I assumed it would be necessary and not going to check to see if I could have left it. No lift, just...
what kills me is all the people driving Subaru's in Denver with a rod rack that sticks out 4 feet over their hood. Or the $100k trucks in town that have two rod racks on the roof and the driver has no idea about mayfly life cycles. Might just be worse in Denver than elsewhere in the country...
Installed SpyderTrax 1" spacers this weekend as the first step in creating room for 285/70/18's (34/s). Preference is to keep the stock rims so I am exploring this path before giving up and going to aftermarkets. Seems like it will work and the 1" really helped the visual appeal of the stance...
Congrats! Been running mine around Colorado rafting/fishing the last couple months and its been great. In Denver but from Fairfax VA, didn't know there was much fly fishing back in VA outside of Mossy Creek and Savage. Enjoy it, its proven great so far! Also not sure on the rod rack...
Felt like mine definitely went through a break in and sound great now. Also sources matter, I listen through Tidal premium. XM radio sounds ok, but thats expected due to the compression
My local off road shop that has an OT told me a couple things, and I trust them.
They put 35's on theirs but with a +35 offset and had to remove plastic pieces (clipped in) in the front and back of the front wheel wells as well as pinning the liner a little bit forward
285/70/18 (34's) will...
Hahaha in what way do they need to be held accountable.... They don't owe you anything for just being on a list other than getting the vehicle right and delivering it to you without issues. They don't owe it to you on a certain date.
Agreed and I feel this was evident on my ML sound system. Checked my settings today. I have the surround sound on, treble down one click, mids and bass left alone. My first review of the car was very negative on the ML. 1600 miles later and I'm a big fan and think you get what you paid for...
$4000 at a high end audio shop will beat the ML for sure. I’m tired of shops running wires all over my cars. Popping door panels off and messing stuff up. But sound wise you would 100% win
Exactly - you can always dial up bass and muddy the song with an average car stereo. More important to have clear highs and mids and add a separate sub if you really want quality bass. Most car stereos over produce bass bc thats what they think the end user wants but that is not the signature...
I didn't like it when I drove off the lot. Gave it a couple hundred miles ie listening time to break in and now I love it. Throw on Tool Pnuema at level 40 and its about as good as that song can sound. I listen on Tidal and have slightly tweaked the settings. There are a few modes / options...
I'm not sure I've seen a vehicle at any price point completely satisfy their buyer, people will always find a little something they wish was different and think the manufacturer should have done. If you can't buck up for a $20 piece of plastic to increase your storage, maybe you need to look...
I posted a video driving well over 65mph on FB and no one could notice any hood vibration. It was much more apparent on my 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Much to do about nothing, you are talking about the slightest flutter you have to look for due to the weight of the hood as it is made out of...
A lot of people complaining about the cool box, how much space are you actually losing with it? Also you can turn it off and use it as if it was never there…. Maybe a 1/2 inch lost on all sides? A lot of complaining about nothing
I was looking at the dash and there is a bar on the bottom right that shows how much gas you have. When its near F you are full, closer to E you are empty... Not sure why you need an extra light to show that you are any closer to E than the fuel gauge shows ;)
