I have not noticed any difference or harsh feel. I also had my 4Runner leveled by installing bielstien 5100 series shocks in the front and noticed a ride difference. I have over 1,000 miles since the peak spacer install and I am very happy. I did have to adjust m headlights after install.

I agree - the GX did well towing uphill. Downhill it performed not so well. Without engine braking or oversized brakes I would not try towing this heavy.

My dealer has opened a service call with Lexus and is taking direction from Lexus. I don't think it's a "scorched earth" plan. It is my belief they are doing the extensive-comprehensive fix because they know what the issue is and it's beyond just replacing the brake pads.
