Anyone figure out how to use digital key with Apple Watch?

I think I saw a pic of someone with it on the watch...but can't figure out how to do it!
I have the watch app
I have the iPhone app
I have the digital key on the iPhone app
the rest is a mystery....
anyone in the know, if you can explain that would be amazing!

The watch can be used for remote functions, viewing range and tire pressure, and last parked location. It cannot be used for Lexus’ digital key, which requires a phone.

I am able to use my Apple Watch to start the GX550. I go through the Lexus App, which is on my iPhone and Watch. Need to make sure the doors are locked(which can be done remotely on the app) then press and hold the start symbol on the Apple Watch. Are you using the Lexus App?

on your iphone, you have to add/enable the Lexus app on your apple watch

As I already mentioned (and as OP knows), you can obviously perform remote commands via the watch app.

But the watch doesn’t work as a digital key like the phone can, which was the original question. If you’re not aware, digital key is where you use your phone as the key. You wouldn’t need to bring the regular fob or the card key. 100% phone only. Unfortunately, Lexus’ digital key system doesn’t extend to the watch.
