Best way to create driver profile for wife?

Is the best way to just go in the car with the other keyfob and create her profile in there? IE settings for mirrors, seat, radio etc? Is there any advantage to sharing a digital key with her? Received my OT+ yesterday and we are trying to go through setting things up for both of us since we have very different settings due to height ha.

I believe, although am not 100% certain, that your wife has to download the Lexus app on her phone and setup a different account (different email/password) than you use. Then take only her phone and only her key fob into the GX and you can create her profile and select the "Link to key" option.

Thank you! I went out after I posted and fumbled for about 30 minutes and what you described is what needed to be done. Got it all set. Of interest I turned on facial recognition on both of our profiles.

I grabbed her keys to test, it recognized her key and profile and quickly I guess scanned my face and next thing I know it loaded my settings. Pretty neat actually if I end up using my wife’s keys that it can still recognize me and set my settings.

I haven't tried it yet, but I was wondering what would happen if my wife had her key fob in her purse in the passenger seat and I have my key fob in my pocket in the driver seat. I expect the GX would sense the closet key to the driver position, but if it does reliably do that I can turn on the "facial recognition" and use that!

It is pretty slick! I thought it was messed up and when I figured it out I was like “ahh ha!”.

My wife normally has her fob buried in her purse so this facial recognition will be very helpful when it’s trying to figure out who is driving vs riding .
