We don't really have laws regarding lights here where i live, issue is more on the bulbs themselves the roads i drive don't really have street lights and the signs have super faded reflectors so having brighter lights are safer for me. was hoping to change them to something a bit brighter and a bit warmer so i can so rain won't be a problem.
I was actually wondering if Lexus adjusted the lights on the 25 to account for the added 1" lift. I recently got mine and one of the first things I noticed was how high the low beams shine. Coming from a lower car I would hate to be stuck in front of one of these.I had to angle my headlights down a lot farther than I normally would to avoid blinding people (and getting brights constantly flashed at me). I have lifted my GX a bit and put on 35" tires which, of course, is part of the problem but the headlights were incredibly bright and high to begin with. I don't think you are going to get any brighter on the headlights - you need to add auxiliary lighting for your needs.
Haha that's hilarious, I also feel bad about it, I might adjust mine down some. A few nights ago I pulled up behind someone waiting at a stop light, and like you said it lit them up enough to see facial features... well I think they got annoyed because they scooted up to let me squeeze by to turn right. That had happened maybe once previously before, so I suppose it does have its advantages.Yeah, I was pulling up behind regular passenger cars at traffic lights and I felt bad because I could see their pupils constricting in their rear view mirrors.
