We are having a rare snow event in DFW this week. Yesterday I went to the grocery store to get Meat Church Chili fixings. On the way, I drove past a BMW X-1 that couldn't get enough traction to make it up a little hill in Colleyville. The GX550 made it up the hill without any issues at all. Proud Daddy moment.....

Evidence of the snow!

We got about 3 inches of snow in Chicago area this morning and I just told my wife how awesome our new Overtrail+ handled it. She's a beast (the GX, not my wife)! lol

I haven't taken any photos yet, but in Indy we got 10" of snow last Monday and another 4" on top of that on Friday. I was concerned about how well the Toyo Open Country A/T3 tires would perform in the snow, but i can tell you they have exceeded my expectations by far.

Ya the Toyo’s don’t leave a lot to be desired.

Went skiing today and it did good family haul duty, skis fit nicely behind one tumbled seat.

Real icy in the city right now with a melt we are having. Still doing fine.

Live in Interior AK, received our OT+ in Dec. Had 9 miles on it when I put on Blizzak tires. We are driving in snow and ice 7 months out of the year on average and really like the drivability we have experienced thus far. I played with the deep snow mode in the yard and intentionally stuck it going forward, it was able to back out. Lowest temps we have seen is -36F, wish I had nitrogen in the tires, it takes a couple miles before they equal round in those temps.

So still running the Toyo's in the -30C we have had the last week. Definitely noticing alot more slippage and care being needed. But I also have an X5 on Michelin PA5 perf winters and I can't say it's performing any better than the GX on Toyo AT's.

Really happy with the TOYO winter performance overall considering how much better they are in deep snow than most dedicated winters.

Really the only thing that would be a big step change would be studs on the ice at this point.

I bought Bridgestone AT Ascents in 275/50r-22 for my Lux +, I had about 6 inches of snow at my house in the PNW, tires did excellent. Very quiet on the road, really like the tires.
