Luxury+ Dunlop Grandtrek PT5A Tires

Those of you have have a Luxury + with Dunlop Grandtrek PT5A tires, how do you like them? Good on wet roads? Ride quality? Wear?

I pick up the new ride Tuesday and had never heard of these tires, nor can I find any reviews or ratings online.

My L+ was delivered back in May '24, one of the first deliveries in my area so I had not seen one beforehand to check out what tires would be on it. I just assumed it would have Michelins or something. I've actually been pleasantly surprised with the Dunlops. Very smooth and quiet, and they've been great on wet roads. I think this truck would be pretty sure-footed in wet conditions with almost any tires though. I've got 10K miles on them and so far so good on wear, as in no signs of wear and nothing abnormal visible on the tread.

I do love it. My previous ride was a Sierra Denali with a 5.3L V8 and I was afraid I'd miss the big V8. Shouldn't have worried. This TT V6 and 10 speed drive like a dream. And the GX is actually a slight improvement in gas mileage! Getting in this truck every morning as my daily driver is just plain fun. You can pick it apart looking for every flaw (and there are some) but it's still way nicer, more fun and better looking than 99.99% of the cars around you in my opinion. I had the dealer do the TSB on the hood flutter last week and it did seem to remedy that. That was just a first model year glitch and Lexus did address it. So yeah, you won't regret this. I had those my my lux. Ride quality was great. But honestly I haven’t tested it much. Only 600 miles or so. Then I switched to Toyo’s. One thing for sure is that it’s much quieter than the toyos. Not a fan of the look of tire though. And snow performance I don’t think is that good vs ATs.
