New prospective Overtrail owner

Hi gang - I am a retired mech engineer currently driving a 2015 Honda Pilot. With it being 10 yr old , I plan to replace it with a new Overtrail shortly. I am located in upstate NY near the PA border half-way between the Lexus dealers in Syracuse and Wilkes-Barre, PA. This location provides few opportunities to see an actual GX550 Overtrail. Before I plunk down $80k, I need to see one in Earth color, my preferred color choice. I am hoping there is a fellow Overtrail driver within a reasonable driving distance that would like to display their Earthly Overtrail to me. We could meet at a mall or somewhere convenient. Send me a PM if this is feasible and I'll bring a case of beer for your trouble.

Curious if you have driven an Overtrail or any GX 550? I went to test drive an OT, but it was sold when I got there so they let me drive a Luxury. I was impressed and plan on getting an OT when the 2025s come out (May, June?). The OT that had sold was in the showroom with Incognito color. I was not interested in that color at all from photos and videos, but in person it's awesome. You should see it before making a decision. I haven't seen Earth yet either, but will be happy with it, Incognito or white Pearl.

I agree, I wanted the Earth Tone but a Incognito OT became available and I didn't want to wait any longer. My wife loves the color and it has really grown on me. I get a lot of compliments.

Wow, you bought an OT in the two hours between your posts? I think the Incognito will age well. Enjoy!

Thanks for the feedback. I have driven a Premium+ at the dealer and really liked the Nebula Silver, but I realized the OT would suit my needs better with only 2 rows of seats. They don't offer Nebula in OT configs so I thought I'd like the Earth as an option. It would be unique and easier for the cops to spot too if it were stolen. I'd probably remove the second row of seats since I seldom carry passengers and place plywood over the gap.

For the amount of money they are asking for these things, wouldn't you think the dealers would carry some authentic colored paint cards that prospective customers could peruse? Doh!

I have an incognito OT+ that’s a pretty good gap I’m about 1:45 from WILKES BARRE

I sold my 14 yr old 4 Runner to get my OT (Nori) recently. I think I've only seen 1 Earth around here, so my advice would be - either you will find one available soon and you can drive it yourself OR you'll have a long wait like I did, and that will give you time to drive to a dealer and see one within "X" miles for yourself.

In my opinion the color chips don't quite convey the car as painted due to its shape, angles, and height.

Now, if you want to drive one, DM me - I'm in SE PA - but I'm up in North PA now and then. Also a Mech E, also fan of beer.
