Newbie from Georgia!

New to the group, checking in from NW Georgia.
I’m excited to find this forum, and look forward to sharing experiences with and learning from fellow enthusiasts!
A little about myself …. I recently retired, and an avid classic, muscle car enthusiast, restored more heaps than I can recall and owned some type of Land Cruiser, LX, or Toyota Truck since 1978!
My first job was at my grandparents service station summers/after school at age ten. I have worked almost every dept of the automotive dealership working for a small automotive group 80’s-90’s they bought several dealerships, Nissan, Mazda, GM, others, before I began working for myself.
My wife and I located two GX550s in May, spent some time driving an Eminent OT+ but couldn’t make a deal….. but that’s another story!
We are on a list after placing a deposit on an OT…..
Happy to be here and my apologies if I rambled on to much with my introduction.

Welcome to the group. As the owner of a preservation/restoration 1970 GTO, I can appreciate your love of the classics. My first experience riding in a Land Cruiser was in one from about the mid-1970's. My BIL owned it and referred to it as the "Land Crusher".

I'm looking forward to testing out my OT in the snow in a bit. It's just getting started now. This was from about 2 hrs ago.

Thank you! The 1970 GTO is my favorite year of the 68/72s… my neighbor just bought a very original, 1968 LeMans with plenty of original paperwork (window sticker invoice), I’ve have owned a night watch blue 1965 I always leaned towards Chevelles especially 1966/67 L79 cars, far less made than SS cars!
Great photos…… You really are going to have fun testing the GX! It looks like it’s missing us and thankfully so is the severe weather, so far anyway!
