Weatherstripping 2024 OT

Has anyone had any issues with the roof weatherstripping coming off? I believe my stock roof rack is preventing it from completely blowing off. It happens mostly when I am on the highway at 55 mph or above. It unattaches and flops in the wind until I pull over and push it back down?!
The dealer is saying $1100 to replace one side and they are not sure warranty with cover it since my roof is wrapped. However the installer never removed the weatherstripping. My appt is on Monday to replace the driver side and I will see what they end up deciding….

Mine came loose after installing the Westcott roof rack. I resealed it with a few dabs of silicone I bought at ACE

Would you mind sharing a pic of where the weatherstripping is coming loose. Hopefully the dealership fixes it with minimal/no charge.

the front and rear are clipped on the ends, but the middle pieces are just pressure fit and held on the ends by the Rack mounts

Yes, that's that was the same with mine. However, when I installed the new Westcott roof rack they must have removed the middle piece and removed the adhesive that held it in place. So I just applied the silicone adhesive to all three pieces and they are all very secure now. Hope this helps. It's a pretty easy fix

yes, mine came off after a rack install, it is only really held in place by the roof bar brackets and maybe sort of press fit in. For now I just pulled the pieces out all the way out they are sitting in my garage. I don’t see how they are actually weatherstripping, more just a trim pieces for the roof “slots”???

The dealer informed me today that they ordered the wrong parts and the weatherstripping was not $1100. They order the roof support bars???? They did replace both sides of the weatherstripping under warrantytoday and all seems good for now.
