I would think it’s the Lexus up charge. Still not as bad as some of the German brands. It was $1000 for an oil change on my Macan. lol.

If it’s just the beach I’m sure that any of these trims are good (with better tires). That said for comfort, the AVS might make a bigger difference with the NyC roads (I hate the LIE). For the AVS I believe you need to get the overtrail or step up to lux+.

Coming from a Porsche Macan, the steering wheel layout is so much better with physical “scroll wheels” than the buttons for volume and other controls on the Gx now. It takes much more effort to adjust settings than with a wheel. There’s my critique. :)

The only concern I have is the waterproofing over time of these racks . My truck will be outside exposed to the elements in private parking. But exposed nevertheless. Any thoughts on this and for which rack would be best for that scenario?

I have the ram mount with the mag safe attachment on my windshield right now. I didn’t want to put any adhesive on my dash to hold the arms.

Tbh. If I were to go this route I would likely do the LR OeM rack. That said a full rack is interesting but only if you could reduce the number of cross bars so that the panorama roof wouldn’t be impeded all the time. That or have a way to operate on a minimum number of cross bars and then when...

According to the car confections web site (https://carconfections.com/luxury-midsize-3-row-suvs-sound-level-readings/)it should be around 54dB or so on the highway.

I have a luxury +. I feel like it’s louder than my Macan and my GLS. So it’s loud relative to some other vehicles but in absolute terms I don’t think it’s loud. That said you should just take out your phone and try to measure the decibels on the highway.

I just drove by the dealer today, and I noticed that they had a premium trim which had unpainted moulding below the doors, whereas mine is painted. My question is which trim gets the painted moldings under door?

Speaking of dynos. Does anyone have a stock dyno sheet for these cars? I wonder if the factory specs are underrated, overrated or inline with real world results. .
