My dealer in VA acknowledges there is a brake problem and says they are waiting for upgraded parts from Lexus. They don’t acknowledge the vibration issue officially but said it might be good to come in and get it down on the record. No fixes for either for me.

My dealer noted that Lexus is aware of this issue and the fix is new brake pads (possibly modified vs the original) but that Lexus has not shipped the replacements yet.

24 Land Cruiser now comes with a 2nd cover that is 1/2 size, more functional and less ugly. Lexus hasn’t seemed to get on board yet.

My OT has a storage cubby below the jack storage on the left in the rear compartment. May be for an onboard compressor but I can store a recovery rope and a few other items in there and my e-flares in with the jack compartment.

Def not worth that. Many seem to have taken them off for noise reasons so you may be able to get some cheaply. They look easy to install. No real other cross bar options yet.

If you are running shuttles yourself with 2 people it makes moving the rods so much easier than breaking them down every time, or leaving them unattended. Mine is Riversmith with quick release mounts so I can easily remove the rack and store in my garage when I am not using.

Does Prinsu make sliders? I thought only excellent racks. They might sell another's sliders. Scratch that - seems same co has CBI

Picked up my OT plus today in Chantilly VA Coming from a 21 Bronco OBX w AT tires and lux package which was frankly a great car except for HW noise w hard top. Will be hiking and fishing in the GX in VA and hopefully the MT West. Likely to upgrade roof rack and need rock rail slider steps ASAP.
