Is there any information on the overtrail wheel part numbers and it’s size and offset

I read on the GX Reddit first batch of all trims totals 186 vehicles. Hopefully a second batch of higher volume will come over the summer. Probably best to see what the market holds for us then.

Dealer messaged me saying they only got 1 allocation for a non overtrail model. I’m also seventh on the list for an overtrail plus. Seems like it’s going to be a while before I get the call

What’s concerning is the wheel offset. No info on the oem offset yet until part numbers get published. I think the rays is a +20. Just want to avoid any rubbing or silly stance

I might run into an issue when swapping the oem wheel to a TE37 wheel though. Rays only makes a 18x8. The oem wheel is 17x7.5. I don’t think half an inch would stretch it, but food for thought

Tbh I’m going to run the 4ply even when off roading lol. If I really needed an 8 ply I shouldn’t be wheeling that much in a new truck haha 😂

I believe the Toyo that comes with the Overtrail is an OEM and not listed elsewhere. I also think its not a true 8 ply, might be a 4 ply or something. I've seen coverage explaining the on road reasoning for this OEM route; i.e. quieter noise, comfort etc.

Yeah I think we share similar views when it comes to this topic. I think turbo engines behaviors are more reliant on their transmission pairings tbh. My old gti with the dct was a fantasic combo. Cool to see you can fit wider wheels. Wonder how that works when you are tucking the wheel in the fenders on the trail. I'm planning on swapping the overtrail wheels to a TE37 that's half an inch wider but keep the same 33 inch tire. Will be interesting to see if there's that much of a clearance...

ehh just put the highest octane in your area if you can afford it. In California we mostly cap at 91. If you're in other regions just look for 93 and above. Just dont put 110 in it lol.
