It wasn't until Tesla reduced the price of the Model X, which, combined with the federal tax rebate, brought it into the same price range as the GX550, that I started contemplating purchasing one. The lack of quality and luxurious feel of the Model X have also been mentioned in several YouTube...

In terms of luxury SUV features alone (excluding off-road capabilities), how would you contrast the GX550 with the Tesla Model X?

I was considering the Sequoia TRD Pro that was around $81,000.

It's too bad, because it's a really good looking SUV. Everyone I have talked with about the new Sequoia complains about the interior design. I'm actually happy it didn't pan out for me, as the GX will not only be cheaper but even better looking!

Welcome to the forum! Great choice! I have a '14 4runner and while it's been a great SUV, it's really starting to show it's age, especially with the engine/transmission.

That looks like the stock wheel on the new Ranger Raptor. The logo looks like the Ford logo.. The ICON Vector is a good looking wheel.

Welcome @CMSFRAT - I haven't seen anyone mention the OV and TW build options. My thought is the bodyside molding would be an option on other trim levels, or at least I hope so. That's something I would add.

Thanks, that's a better explanation then I received from my sales rep, but sounds similar to their process. This is my first time ordering a Lexus, so the process seems a bit different compared to other manufacturers.

Oh yeah, that will look great behind the GX! That's a nice floorplan, especially with all the slide outs.

That's a good question. I would think the premium + would be better for towing. I figured the suspension would be softer with the Overtrail models making it better for off-road use.

I initially leaned towards Nebula Gray, but I really like the varying shades of Incognito under different lighting conditions. It will be fun to photograph!

Well, I'll soon be officially a part of the Incognito GX550 Club. I changed my color today with the dealer after seeing these photos taken during a dealer test drive event.
