Welcome to the forum @UwharrieJacket Nice Jeep! Did the dealer offer you any time frame for placing the order or delivery?

@supersix After speaking with a couple dealers, they both are saying the same thing. At first, the allocations will not be custom ordered. They suspect they will get them largely pre-configured and mostly highly optioned. As they begin to show in the system, the dealer will let me know if it is close to my desired build, and then I can take it or pass until another comes closer to my specs. Timeline could see more details in December, but units showing up in Q1. I am estimating March.

Thanks, that's a better explanation then I received from my sales rep, but sounds similar to their process. This is my first time ordering a Lexus, so the process seems a bit different compared to other manufacturers.

This sounds like the Toyota process based on what I’ve read on their forums and what a friend experienced with a Camry purchase. I’m used to the Ford (& probably all N.American brands) way of doing things where you submit your build just exactly as you want & they build it when they can & ship it to you. So just reading a bit I can see I’ve got some learning ahead on the Toyota way.
