Chasing Cars reviews the 2024 Lexus GX550 Overtrail with 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6 engine, low range and all-terrain tires. The Lexus GX is a luxury adaptation of the next-gen J250 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado platform. It will be coming to Australia and other markets.

The GX seems like it will slot in perfectly for a good off-road and on-road luxury vehicle. I think it will take some sales away from Land Rover!

I can't seem to find anything on the Lexus website or in the press release, however Car and Driver mentioned: "Lexus claims a combined fuel-economy rating of 17 mpg, a slight bump over the old V-8 GX460's 16 mpg combined." I sure hope it's over 20mpg on the highway...
It's been over 3 months since the first announcement, hopefully we'll get some details soon! I am expecting dealers to start taking orders sometime in October.
