I noticed some of this early on, but at 3k miles I really don't see any of the stuttering at low speeds anymore. Might be partially that I'm more familiar with the vehicle and drive it better, but I also think it has "learned" better shift manners.
I'm glad we have this forum. I got my OT in May and when I got it home I noticed the brakes squeaking when using them lightly in reverse and a little bit when going slowly forward sometimes too. I figured it would go away once things got worn in a little, but now I'm at 3k miles and last night...
Here is a small tech idea that I thought I would share. I added a phone mount on the center console in front of the cup holders, and I use a 90 degree usb c adapter with a short cable that has a 90 degree sideways adapter to plug into my phone. That keeps my phone secured and charging without...
Yep, same here. My wife was so disappointed she said she might have opted for the OT+ just to get that feature. I'm hoping maybe there is some way to add it, but so far I'm not seeing any options to do that.
Once you select the "update" option it will show your current average mpg since the update on this screen and on the gauge object. Also, it will briefly show you a trip summary every time you turn off your GX on your main gauge panel.
It's about 37.25 in the rear and about 35.5 in the front, so about 1.75 difference. That equates to the Wescott Designs kit taking it up 2.5 in the front and .75 in the rear for a level GX550.
Yes, it seems they don't want you to know RPMs in cruise control. When using the adaptive cruise control it also does not show the tach on the HUD, but with that turned off you can see the tach arc on the HUD too.
I had an interesting observation yesterday. I filled up and headed out for a 1 hour drive. During the first 15 minutes I was traveling about 80 and the computer showed my average MPG kept increasing up to about 20.5. I changed to a different highway with virtually no traffic, flat and...
I did my windshield at 70% and to me that seems like a good option since I don't have the greatest night time vision. I did 30 on the front doors, sunroof and back window, 70 on all the other windows added to the existing 24 that comes on them.
It doesn't matter how tall they are under load, what you are trying to calculate is the circumference difference, because one revolution of your tire travels exactly the distance forward equal to your tire circumference. It doesn't matter if your tires are slightly aired down or fully inflated...
That's fantastic! The reason I got a GX is because I took my wife to look at a TX on a Sunday afternoon, and the dealer had a Nori Green GX on the lot that was marked sold. We were there to look at other stuff, but I just loved that green GX. I found one in Incognito and bought it, but if I had...
Yeah, it's weird, mine kept coming back on, probably 8 to 10 times, and now it seems like the last few days it has stayed off. I think there may be something else that triggers it or something that keeps it off, but I haven't figured it out yet.
Dashcam move
As others have noted, the default location for the port installed dashcam is a little bit obtrusive to driver visibility. I was planning to see if the dealer could move it to the other side, but then when I took it in for window tinting, the installers removed the camera from the...
S-flow is a feature that identifies which seats are occupied and only blows A/C toward those seats. The problem is that doesn't cool the vehicle well so it just stays hot longer. Also, it doesn't always accurately identify occupied seats. Turning it off just makes it blow at all vents.
Moving the Dashcam was so easy. The window tinting guys removed it from the windshield, so I didn't have to do that part. They just left it hanging. But getting it shifted to the passenger side was easy. I'll try to put a post about that in the tech tips thread.
I like the start button location. I'm getting about 16.5 to 17mpg with mixed city and highway. I haven't had any plastic stuff break yet but I did see that post about the second row seat lever, so that's concerning. Here's my list:
- A/C control "shuts off" every time the vehicle is started...
