Thanks! I'll try again now. I can unlock all doors from the driver's and passenger's handles but not the rear handles.
EDIT: Tried again to program it using the key fob but no change.
Thank you so much. Yes, I am aware of this. I am trying to see if I can unlock the car using the rear handles on a regular OT. It doesn't work on mine so I was curious to see if other OT owners have this feature working. May I ask what trim is your GX?
Hello everyone! I was watching an OT+ YouTube video and they unlocked all doors by just grabbing the rear door handle with the key fob in pocket. I have an OT and I couldn't replicate it or find such a setting. Is this reserved for higher trims? Thanks!
I’m still waiting on my dealer as well. Is the road force balancing fix still effective with the vibration? Mine was good for a few days but it has come back to some extent.
Same experience here and I'm waiting for them to call back. I checked again today and was told it should be soon but no timeline. For the vibration, the road force balancing worked for about 200 miles and then the vibration is back, not as bad but it is gradually getting worse. I'm hoping the...
UPDATE (Sept 19, 2024): The vibration is back. It kept getting worse over the course of a few days and less than 200 miles. Disappointing.
They replaced two tires that they couldn't road-force balance to an acceptable level. It did help and I can feel a difference but there is still some...
Thanks for sharing!! Looking at the parts from the video, I see the fitting kit includes an "anti rattle spring." Can this be related to the vibration issue?
Great! Please keep us posted. I was in a similar boat but they returned the vehicle and I was told that the parts are not available and will be notified when they become available.
Wow. 10 sets a day?! I have no idea what is considered average number here but this seems too low to me. If so, it may be in-house for the diagnosis team until they approve something and manufacture it through the normal mainstream process.
Please keep us posted. I heard the same from my dealer. My OT has been at the dealer for over two weeks. It was scheduled to get the new parts but Lexus cancelled the delivery after approval because the parts are not available and are on "backorder." So they are releasing the car back to me...
This is exactly my experience. They acknowledge the brake/squeal issue. Lexus is requiring some documentation including videos from the dealers to release the parts for the brakes. Toyota has the parts available for the dealers to order but not for Lexus yet. As for the vibration, they know of...
I already started a conversation with my dealer. Apparently, Lexus is already providing some guidance and instructions to dealerships on the vibration issue. I don't have details yet but seems similar to sroberts solution.
Do you think this also explains a shudder-like or warped-rotor brake behavior when getting to a complete stop?
I have the same vibration issue from day 1 but also have been having this shudder issue too.
@sroberts This is great news! Hopefully, these symptoms won't come back. Did the ticket have any reference to the ride vibration? Did the brakes have any warped-like symptoms before replacement?
Makes sense on exploring the truck more. I have a little over 1000 miles on it now. I haven't gone back to the dealer yet. I am hoping to go back to them with some info or proven fixes.
This morning, the vibration is back, same route and some road conditions. In my case, I don't think the...
So, I have been having the same vibration issue with my OT like many of you including some warped-rotor like symptoms. I noticed this during my test drive before delivery but also drove another OT+ and Prem+ back to back. All had the same issue, surprisingly the Prem+ was even more pronounced. I...
I actually test drove a Prem+ that had a very similar vibration to two different OT's. I'm too hopeful "sroberts" dealer comes up with some solution. I have some issues with the brakes similar to "warped" rotors so I am thinking they may be on the right track.
