You didn’t order one. They got an allocation that matched what you wanted, or they traded allocations with another dealer. Toyota/Lexus schedule what they think people want and then allocate them to the dealers. I’d expect OT+ in Nori Green to be pretty popular. Hopefully you get one soon...

Agreed, hope Bigjt gets his GX in 3 weeks! However, learn from others here and if you have to trade in early, budget for 1-2 months of a rental.

These engine issues have taken a little of the luster away. The bright side is it has made me a little more patient and appreciative of the last few months with the V8. Looking forward to the new, but the outgoing car served me well for the last 8 years.

Another forum where they were told it was a sunroof seal. No way to know what the real problem is due to Toyota/Lexus silence. So far it’s been said that it is paint, sunroof, and/or traction control updates; who knows what the truth really is.

I just bought and Lx and will add a GX in a few months. Considering the recall for Lexus vehicles is through later 2022 build dates, I feel my 2024 builds will be ok. If not and they later extend the recall, it will be a pain, but it will get fixed.

Yes, to me that is more premium. The seats without a solid backing look like they have a seat cover, are more prone to stretching and kicking from kids in the back seat. Eta: the interior of my ‘21 Land Cruiser seems more luxurious than the GX.

No, it’s just cost cutting on the lower trims. My LC200 has the hard backing. Our ‘17 GX has the hard backing. Quite simply cost savings (despite the significantly higher price) on the Premium and base OT.
