Well, with all of you all’s recent feedback on GXs moving, texted my dealer this morning:
“Good morning ! Your GX has cleared inspection, and is now waiting to be placed on a train bound for Colorado. I’ll let you know as soon as that happens.

On the bright side for other's waiting, my allocation shipped out of Japan May 29. Arrived in Long Beach June 14 and today was just released to head to the dealer in CO via train. So the 'QC' hold was only 2 weeks.
How long from the time you get on the waiting list at your dealer until your allocation shipped up? I know that's going to vary from dealer to dealer depending on how many allocations they receive and how long their waiting list is, but I'd love to get an idea for the overall waiting time that others experience.
My OT+ shipped APRIL16 waiting ever since I know catchup it will be here in a couple of days

I will say, this OT I got I struck out on 2 times before I was able to put it under my name.
This was an "orphan" that Lexus sent. The dealer said that they never know how many GX's they will receive each month (before QC hold) but when they are sent the orphans they run it through their deposit list before making it fair game.
My dealership had to run it through their list of deposits the first 2 times before I could get it. Someone took it both times, and dropped it both times. Luckily after the first time I went ahead and test drove a demo, and placed a deposit that day for the next opportunity. It came back available, and because this time I had placed my deposit I had first dibs.
I know I am one of the lucky ones, but the list here was minimal compared to a Sewell or other major cities. These "orphans" pop up every now and then, and if you're not on a list, good luck, you won't get it.
But, I understand the frustration of placing an order and getting bumped.

Anyone know if any cars from Portland port have been released? My car has been there since May 1.

Well dealer called with good news and bad news today. Bad news was our allocation still hadn’t arrived yet. The good news was a nearly identical allocation came in today so they offered it to us since we were at the top of the list. Premium+ in eminent white. New build date and hasn’t been baking in the port of Jacksonville since mid April so we jumped on it. Bonus picture, my all Japanese made garage is complete now. 1996 Honda Acty and 1988 Toyota Pickup.

5/9 - Cold called Priority of Newport News, VA and they had an allocation available. MSRP with no dealer add ons. Took a $2k non refundable deposit to hold the allocation in my name. Was waitlisted with pohanka and lindsay since March. Started to get impatient waiting since i was deep on their lists.
~6/11 - Arrived in Jacksonville
Looking forward to hitting up Peters Mill Run, Flagpole Knob, Unions Spring, and Assateague OSV this summer/fall. Any other suggestions within 3-4 hours of the DC Metro Area? Ready to jump back into my off road adventures as a teenager with a 98 Cherokee. Since then had a 14 Fiesta ST and 18 Golf R.
Hoping they honor my request to not mount the front license plate bracket!
