I wonder why only a seemingly few have these issues; I should think all of them would be affected given a mainly automated assembly line.

Most do not have brake or vibration issues, including my Overtrail+. You will love this truck— I do!

Agree but not all Overtrails suffer from these issues (maybe the vast majority don’t)— maybe an assembly line or dealer prep issue?

Also odd not all vehicles suffer from it if they were all from the same assembly line—- mine has had none of the various vibration/flutter/brake squealing issues noted in this forum

It seems to me the vibration would affect all overtrails and not just a few. Am lucky I guess!

I agree with MichaelT. My 550 has no issues whatsoever. If someone in San Diego has one that does, let’s compare both rigs and we can post video results. I too am surprised that no one has not posted a video of the brakes and vibration.

That is my experience. I assume no one expects 100% smooth ride on not so well maintained roads. On smooth California highways (which are never 100% smooth), my 550 is very smooth with no vibration.

I must be lucky— no suspension vibration, no hood flutter or AC noise and the ML stereo and massage seats work great.

Carmax offered me $12.4K for my 2014 4Runner (164K miles). I sold it for $18.5 on Craigslist in 2 days

I am in San Diego and mine does not vibrate. Am happy to participate in the test. No brake squeal and no lean either.

Mine is an O+ but what you say may be true as well!

It seems all the 550s would have a vibration issue. In my view it comes down to driver perception. At the end of the day, it is a truck and will not give a luxury car ride. Same with performance cars— a Dino, Boxer or Miura will never be as smooth as a performance BMW and a Ducati v4R or SP2...

No vibration on my O+ after 5K miles— I came from a 2014 4Runner.

I had dealer not install front license plate bracket. LOVE the cool box— gets very cold quickly!!!

I skipped this add in along with all other protection items and extended warranties

After 1,140 miles, mine does not do that at all. Also no hood shake or vibration and I think sound attenuation is great— love my Overtrail + !!!

Overtrail+here— no vibration issues (and no hood vibration either at any speed). I like the ride as well— not bouncy in my view (and I was coming from a 4Runner)

I skipped the extended warranty and all other service/warranty items— not worth it in my view; now if I had bought a Defender, I would have bought all of them🫤

My hood does not vibrate but I will double check this afternoon on my way home
