Salesman finally told that the delay was due to the headliner requiring additional adhesive. Response from salesman…. “Hoping yours will release soon. We did find out what the FI hold is for. The headliner on the interior needed another couple pieces of adhesive to secure it smoothly to the roof...

Not at all, but when no reason is given, one’s mind does wander. It would be great if Lexus was up front about all of these GX production delays.
