Really like them so far. About 800 miles on em and they've broken in a bit and feel great. Running at 30 psi. Steering and turn in is still quick and I honestly can't tell much difference from the Toyos in that regard. They do make the rig feel slightly heavier from a stop but not by much could...
Guys, I just raised the hood and adjusted the lil rubber lifters to the max height I could get and still shut the hood (with a little effort), same height on both sides, and went for a short highway drive to 85 mph and I think my hood flutter is gone...or at least 95+% gone. No need to do...
We've had our OT+ for a week and taken two short road trips and at 70+ hwy the hood flutter is pretty bad. I've had passengers notice it and say the same. Our 2014 4Runner is rock solid. I will be reporting it to the dealership and looking into some of the fixes. Will report back
Still love...
Our OT+ with 800 miles on it does something like this. It's intermittent and only after engine is really warm, like after highway driving for hour or two. Exit to get gas, turning right and at 1100 rpm I get an exhaust rattle/buzz/resonance and I can hold that rpm for a moment where rear...

No lift.
I'll post pics over in the aftermarket wheel thread when I have time to upload some decent pics.
Somebody with a Nori has that size on Overtrail wheels. They fit fine and look awesome.
285/70/18
Snug fitment up front. Barely rubbed the lower cover (w/ the three plastic push pins) behind the front passenger tire at full lock. Removed the cover from both sides. No rubbing anywhere now.
(Edited original post.)
Bummer to hear some of this reading through the thread. A vibration that shouldn't be there can be detected for sure and is not inherent of this platform imo.
We picked up an Overtrail+ yesterday. Felt normal leaving dealership on the fresh Toyo AT's, but we immediately swapped wheels/tires and...
Finally got our GX! Someone backed out of a white Overtrail+ and we swooped it up yesterday. Deposit early April. Passed on a couple of Luxury's in the last month and regretted it a bit. Happy to have a vehicle. We love our Overtrail+. 1st road trip this weekend. Immediately put Falken AT4W...
Yeah 4Runner is M12x1.5 lugs and GX is 5x114.3 lugs. Bolt pattern is the same 6x139.7 though.
I kinda like the silver 4Runner wheels though against the Nori. Good luck.
Surprised Lexus hasn't addressed this as ive seen quite a lot of complaints about it online. We get our GX soon and do a lot of 80 mph highway driving. This is gonna bug me for sure lol. Your'e probably on the right track with a fix. I'm thinking a few pieces of strategically placed felt might...
Hey there from OKC. Put a deposit down in April, still waiting on our GX for my wife. She's coming from a 4Runner that has been a great vehicle and is being passed down to our soon to be 16 son. It has a level kit and 285/70/17's and we travel all over in that rig for soccer for my son. Can't...
From over in the Aftermarket Wheel Tire thread it was reported 2022 Supra TPMS was recognized by the GX just fine. Maybe other late model Toyota and Lexus TPMS work just fine in terms of being interchangeable.
Great info about the 2022 Supra TPMS working just fine.with aftermarket wheels!
For the lugs, after researching a bit, are definitely M14x1.5 which are widely available. I can't speak about the OEM ones yet with other wheels but it makes some sense that those lugs may not work with aftermarket...
