What's New for 2025?
In its sophomore season, the redesigned GX550 sees only minor changes to its standard equipment. A power-adjustable steering column is now standard across the lineup, and all GX models come with memory settings for the driver’s seat, steering wheel, and outside mirrors. The Overtrail and Overtrail+ off-road trims add a one-inch suspension lift for better obstacle clearance and a bank of auxiliary switches

Hi all - first post here but long time Toyota guy. These are the exact things (only except the ML) system on why I was even considering the +. This is great news for me and the lift icing on top. Will live without the ML For the ~9k difference. I am hoping we see this in a formal announcement from Lexus. C&D appears to be the only place this data is given. Also curious with MY25 production starts.

My only reason opting for the OT+ was the memory seats and mirrors. I'm hoping the announcement comes shortly since I have a 2024 OT+ coming early December. I would take the 2025 OT to save some serious cash.

I believe the 1 suspension lift is comparing to the regular GX, which is the same for 2024

If this is all true for the overtrail changes, I hope they sneakily add rear climate controls and ceiling vents too. So silly that they left those off
True, the lack of rear ceiling vents is pretty poor for a vehicle at this level. It makes a huge difference for the kids stuck in their booster seats back there all summer. I'm constantly checking the two little rear vents for them behind the center console to make sure they are aimed up and towards each of my boys. Every time they get out of the truck for school they brush against those vents and mess up the alignment.

On another note, now that it's "cold" in Arizona, my youngest son asked me to turn on the rear seat heaters last night after my other son's baseball game ended at 9:00. I put him in his booster and went to hit the rear seat heaters and only found two USB ports....then I remembered that this very expensive new truck doesn't have them - that was my last truck, the LR4, that had the rear seat heaters. My son was not impressed.

Sounds like you bought the wrong truck for your needs

Still baffled by the omission of overhead vents, especially since the LC has them.

Also surprised to learn the cold area package isn't available in the OT. Is it missing the other features of the cold area package too?

OT already has the headlamp washers and windshield wiper de-icer (and the heated steering wheel the cold weather package adds to the Premium - all others have it standard). Not sure about the fast-response interior heater.
