Anyone integrated a 3rd party dash cam to the GX 550 yet - any recommendations? Looking at Viofo.

Did you ever end up finding a good dash cam? I’m in the market for one. I had a BlackVue “4k” in my previous vehicle. It was expensive and wasn’t nearly 4k in resolution.

Seems fine. I haven't done much with it. I was planning on downloading some video today. And yes, hardwired. The installer was impressed with the quality.
Appreciate the feedback. Found it on Amazon for $200. I think I'll go with it.

They have a bundle that has the hardwire kit, fuse accessories, and microSD card. That's what I got.
Wow! I ordered the bundle I believe you were referencing a few minutes after your post and it was just dropped off at my front door. Amazon is scary and impressive at the same time.

Thanks again for the rec. Had it installed this morning and, like you, the installer was impressed by the quality. I played with the functions a bit and I can already tell it’s way better than the BlackVue I had that I paid a lot more for.

Let me know if you have parking mode configured. I have been messing with mine more and am not convinced it goes into a separate mode when I turn off the vehicle.
I do. I went back to my vehicle an hour after I got home and was able to download clips from when I was parked.
