Brake Squeal , vibrations and Hood Flutter on 2025’s

Hi,

I’m picking up my 25 OT next week and just wondering if there is anything I should look out for during the delivery or if all of the infrequent issues from the 2024 model year have now been addressed at the factory level? If need to get something looked at or updated with a flash would rather do it prior to driving it home.

I picked up my 25 Premium Plus in late February, but I’m still noticing the hood flutter, vibrations in the driver’s mirror, and a jerk when coming to a slow stop (likely a transmission issue). The hood flutter and driver’s mirror vibrations get worse in windy conditions at highway speeds. Regarding the jerk issue, the dealer informed me that they are working on it, and I’m waiting for the release of the new program. Could you let us know if you notice the hood flutter or driver’s mirror vibrations after picking up your car?

25 OT here. Hood flutter, driver side mirror vibration, and high speed vibration are all noted but are fairly minor in my opinion. Reference vehicles were F-150 Raptor, Bronco Raptor, Jeep Wrangler, and Ford Transit 350 cargo van. So your experience may vary depending on what you are used to.

Note high speed vibrations are somewhat reduced with slightly lower tire air pressure (34 psi @ 72ºF/22ºC). I also had dealer do a road force balance, which helped slightly.

No brake squeal, no slow stop clunk on mine, about 1800 miles.
