Member akmerle mentioned a cool box tray available on eBay, and I searched and found them. I bought the USA made option. Cost more, and shipping is extra, but all the other trays are from China and who-knows how long for delivery. This will make living with the GX much easier.

Here's a link to eBay search:

The reviews were pretty good, so I guess I'll find out and report. Delivery scheduled for early next week

I recently purchased this item and it works great. It is 3D printed so it’s not perfect, but it functions as intended and provides a nice space for things you frequently use.

So it took two weeks for delivery, but it came well packaged and looks good. Obviously a 3D printed item, though still looks nice. It does have a rubber-type grip surface on the inside tray bottom. AND it fits perfectly within the cold box lid so the top closes nicely. Certainly solves my problem so I like it and will keep it.

I just wonder when this vendor will offer the lower tray (for 2024 Land Cruiser cold box) found in the "printables.com" @Psyberius link above?

Hello all! If one has a 3D printer, there are files out there. This particular one is for a 250 LC. But it should fit a GX 550.

I just printed that on my 3D printer. It came out just great. Fits perfectly. I used a Bambu X1-C printer and black Bambu ABS filament, with tree (auto) supports and unchecked the ''on build plate only" and "remove small overhangs" support settings.

@markmanner - How about printing this one and letting us know how it works in the OT cool box? This is supposed to be a "lower" tray.

P.S. - I have no idea what is involved in 3D printing so I don't know if this is a big ask, or not...
Hi, will do. It isn't a problem, actually fun to do and I hadn't seen this one so I'd like it anyway. Unfortunately, I'll have to print it overnight as a major important print job is underway. A red dragon for my granddaughter.
I'll report tomorrow.
Best,
Marl

Hi, here is a picture of both the top and bottom cool box inserts I printed. Both fit great in the GX OT, and the top one fits fine over the bottom one. The bottom one has some small ridges on the outside to have it fit snugly in the bottom. I put some doubled up felt furniture stick on things on the bottom so it would sit on those rather than being so snug on the sides. Not sure it matters but perhaps having it on its own feet will make it come in and out with less force. I like having these, as I normally won't use the cool box. I may from time to time, though, so it is nice to have both options.
