I’m going to see if I can open the unit and remove the Lexus logo film
Will let you know when I get them. At a first glance I don't see any reason why they would not work from the rear door opening angle compared to the front ones. I don't want to remove the ones I just installed in the front to check

Great, but that's the GX logo one I bought which didn't work on the GX 550. I think the problem is with the connector. It may work with the GX 460 but doesn't with the GX 550 (I am an electrical engineer). So, unless they change the connector design, this may still not work without the logo...
The Seller asked specifically for the model and year in their emails. I also just emailed him your comments about not working with the GX550 only with the 460. We'll see -
Any response/update? Waiting to pull the trigger on these.
He said they will work and I did mention your concern with the connectors; so I ordered last week. If they are not plug and play - I'll return them

Installed mine today - connector fits with OEM. You should be good to go

Here are the 'logo-less' puddle lights - super bright!
I bought the GX550 ones and installed 3, all 3 looked great.. and then getting to the drivers door the GX550 display projected backwards ...went to unplug it and it shut off... now all 4 do not work ..even plugging the original Lexus one back in the drivers door. Anybody have an idea what happened ??

Probably a defective unit and it blew a fuse?
Looks like a fuse issue...Did you notice other interior lights not working too?
yes, first thought as well.. but get this... after about 30 minutes went back to car.. and the puddle lights were on. So tried to mess with the backwards one... and then then all went out again. Since they ce back on... would I rule out the blown fuse ...?
ok, update ... then all of the dome lights would not work or respond to the button to turn on or off. ?!? Started the car for a while to see if any settings, etc... nothing ... came back 15 minutes later and all lights are working ... don't know what happened ...but I'll take it now that everything is working.
Mine arrived today. Very bright compared to the stock puddle lamps. They look a little weird in the photos but they are perfect in person. I actually thought I bought 4 but I only bought 2. I'll pony up another $22 for 2 more for the back doors.
