I can take some photos of it from inside for you.
About what I intend to after removing the rack: I expect that the rail will remain in place. That's how I expect to leave it. Except something is wrong with that? I've never had need of a roof rack in my decades of owning multiple cars.

Sounds good. Thanks. I’m trying to get either rack or cross bars for when I need a roof box for my snowboards. This might be an easy option. But I don’t know how much it will obstruct my sky roof.
