Illuminated door sills

Question, does the premium plus come standard with the Lexus illuminated doors sills? Also does it come with puddle lamps and ambient lighting interior? Or all of these optional add ons? I don't see them as an add on in the builder Lexus site. Thanks

Looking at the Lexus website and the illuminated sills are showing as an option. It also lists “Thematic Ambient Illumination” as standard. Don’t know re: puddle lamps.

Interesting I wonder if the wiring is pre wired under the black sills (plug play) or some work needs to be done.

Someone better suited will know that but I suspect the wiring is there and in might be a fairly easy DIY.

I’ve pictures here of folks installing Lexus puddle lights so they must be standard….

confused. You've seen folks installing puddle lights? Or are you saying they are standard and already installed?

If we are talking about the lights on the underside of the doors that illuminate the ground, yes. Will try to find the thread but saw folks apparently switching the stock lights for ones with Lexus logos etc.

I upgraded my plastic sills to the illuminated ones. The wiring is there…. You just remove a blank connector from the wiring and plug-in the illuminated sill

The dealer replaced the door sills lights before delivery (no charge) with lights with the dealer name and GX 550. They left the original lights in the glove compartment. They are just plug and play and are easy to exchange. I like the larger light puddle it produces when the driver or passenger door is opened. The rear doors still have the original white lights (no emblem).

I had found this video about a week ago. I have a Prem+. I pulled up one of the front sills and the connections are there, per the comment by @ewarren423. The interesting thing is that I haven't found the 4 piece set that this company advertises, only the 2 piece OEM set for the front sills.

I purchased the spotlight style (non logo) and they are so much brighter than the OEM lights. Hopefully they will last. It took maybe 2 minutes to pry the first one out and replace it, I was being careful, then about 2 minutes to replace the other three. Amazon Link
