Where are you guys getting your aftermarket lugs from for your wheels? And are you using extended threads?

I think people normally get the lug nuts from the manufacturer of the wheel. For Method I used Method lug nuts. For Volk Racing I got Rays lug nuts. I have found that the lug nuts from the wheel manufacturer tend to be better.

You can also get lug nuts from Gorilla Automotive or McGard.

The manufacturer sent 12x1.5 vs 14x1.5 which they are correcting but they won't do ET lug nuts. I am pretty sure they are needed to get 14mm of engagement, 9ish turns, as the wheel is quite a bit thicker than the OEM Lexus ones.

What wheels do you have?

The Raceline M14x1.5 lug nuts look to be ET ones. I believe most US aftermarket wheels use ET lugs.

They don't look like other ET ones that I have seen. Usually the ET ones extend past the conical portion toward the rotor when on the car. Basically the threads on the nut would be thread onto the stud through the wheel before the conical portion starts to make contact with the wheel, like below, making up for the increased thickness of the aftermarket wheel.

Like I said I need to stop guessing and measure this evening. It would be very bad to have the ET lug nut bottom out on the rotor, possibly lead to snapping off studs.
