🛠️ Member Build New ARB products

Member Build
Looks like ARB have just released new ARB products for the Landcruiser 250 (Prado), hopefully they should have many of these products for the GX due to the same core frame and platform:

I went in to the local ARB here in Australia, they didn’t know anything about it, might find a better ARB to go to.

That bull bar thing looks like a monstrosity to me. If it was a vehicle fully dedicated to traveling the backcountry or trans-continental travel and you're worried about running into kangaroos or cape buffalo maybe. But why do you need that protection there over the front wheel wells, rather than somewhere useful? Do you routinely run into gas pumps? Or is it to protect the ridiculous negative offset wheel/tire setup which serves no purpose other than looking cool, stressing your suspension components, and making the vehicle wider, which is the last thing you want to do if you drive offroad?

And I'm not driving around town with that thing. You'd 100% look like a complete clown.

😀 your obviously not from Australia, I live in Western Sydney and we have Kangaroos that jump in front of the car and the damage is immense so if you go up or down the coast for a trip travelling in the early morning or late in the evening it’s a risk especially on dirt tracks so it’s not just a nice to have it’s essential. You don’t spend this amount on a vehicle not to protect it on the trails!
I might not get such an extreme one for the Lexus but some of the crap from the US like NYTOP would not even protect the critical components of the engine with a pigeon strike! 😅

drive only released this a day ago so it will probably take some time. I reached out directly to ARB Australia so we will see what they come back with. 👍

Also I reckon they took it from the SEMA ARB exhibition as they had modified a Lexus Prado there. So many of the accessories may only be available in the US at the moment.

Is that our local in Cairns, I've been pushing them for new suspension for my 79, it's taken 3 months just to get them to order it, I ended up picking it up from them and getting Grays Mechanical to fit it, I'll now order anything else ARB through Townsville.

Yes it was, I was told there’s a Cairns guy at TJM (or ARB?) in Townsville who is excellent, I’ll be in touch with him soon.

@Jrox - did you end up getting a response from ARB? I'm in Sydney and want to get the ARB barwork on our OT. I've called my local ARB to ask and I'll see what they come back with either way. The Cruiser Company just announced a rear bar for the Prado as well, so I'm looking at that for the rear:
