New GX 550 overtrail+ incoming

New to the group. I have my GX coming in within the next few weeks from what my dealer told me. Oct 28 was the date set to arrive in Charlotte. Anxious to get it. Already have plans to drop it off to my friend who owns The Tint shop in Denver, NC to have PPF added to the whole front clip of the vehicle. Have a number of things planned for it already. Some that I haven’t seen yet. Obviously I don’t have a picture yet but I will add some of the whip once I’m able to. For now I’ll throw up one I found on Google of the spec which mine is. Black lux interior.

Looks great! What do you think about the crossbars and wind noise at highway speeds? I know others have complained but I'm not sure how bad it really is. The Atomic Silver OT+ I might be getting next week (if the person ahead of me on the wait list doesn't want it) has the crossbars. If the buffeting at highway speed is bad I'll just pull 'em and only use them when I need the roof for storage on trips, but if it's not that bad (I know, that's a personal decision and each of us will be a little different) I'll just leave them on.

The whistling from the crossbars is only really noticeable if you have the moonroof tilted open
If the moonroof shade is open the sound is somewhat noticeable, but if it’s closed I didn’t notice it

Thanks, that’s good to hear…or not hear as the case may be.

Sounds like there’s a decent chance if I do end up with an OT+ with crossbars I won’t be bothered by them.

About 260 miles and a few hours in the GX with the ride home to the coast in NC. Averaged 17 mpg on the first fill up. We’ll see if it gets better with some more miles under its belt. Just wish the tank was a little larger. Love how solid the GX feels. Definitely a little more truck feel than my previous ‘19 4runner TRD ORP. Saying that though I like the ride feel. The wife loves it as much as I do and that’s pretty cool.
Waiting on a few minor modifications to come in.
The atomic silver with the black roof was the right call. It looks awesome.

I swear I have the absolute worst luck ever
Noticed the pinhole chip in the windshield when I was cleaning up the glass this week and now the wife sent me this pic. Splinter in the glass

Who was saying that a yellow fog light option wasn’t available? Haha
Gotta dig harder than that.
I ordered my ditch light brackets also and will test fit them and see if I’m good with moving forward with the lights.
Anxious to test these fogs out this evening and get some pics.
