Hello from PA!
I just picked up a Premium + Nebula Gray Pearl with Black interior.
I noticed a rock chip on the inner passenger sill (tiny) probably from the dealer sitting in the passenger seat during the demo.
Any one find a minimalist door sill protector that works well with these cars? I didn't see Lexus specific ones so figured I'd throw it out to the experts!

Do you have a pic of where exactly is the chip? I always put some 3M film on the painted area before the metal seal on all my cars. I did on my GX immediately after I got it.

I see. Yes, this is where I put some 3M film to protect that area. You can buy this on Amazon (different width)

I was looking at mine today after a car wash - my white sill is scuffed up because I forgot to put some film on it.

What width did you buy? Aren't all the door sills the same across the GX lineup?

I normally go with one inch for that area, but you can go wider if you want, depending on the area you want to protect. The larger the trickier to install though...I also do the same for the back doors' sills. I also got the chip protect film on the full hood, front, front sides and mirrors.

Works too. I like to keep the color of the car visible therefore the transparent film option I favor.

Every time I read the Forum I realize how lazy (and mechanically incompetent) I am!
Truth be told, I am more of a drive-the-crap out of my cars guy….
