Seat now working again. Tube slipped off. Maybe it was a bit short to begin with. Also there are no barbs holding in place so added a zip tie. Maybe ok to just push hose back up fully. If this is how dealers are fixing it may be worth adding the zip tie if the problem comes back. I spent about 15 min, much less hassle, time and cost(fuel) than driving to dealership. Hope it helps others as the original post did me. Thanks KotaRS.

Thank you so much for the pictures.
After being given the run around by the dealer, I was able to open up the seat and fix it myself.
@AtomicEric and @KotaRS, your posts have been super helpful in getting this fixed.
The one thing I noticed that there was a slight kink in the hose due to the pressure from the plastic part. Used @AtomicEric's picture to show the location here.

Yes, likely the root of the problem. If it stays on and works as it is now I'll leave it be. If not, a slightly longer hose would be better. Glad you made use of the photos to get it fixed.

Does anyone know the voice command to turn the massage seats on without the 10 clicks in the instrument panel? I keep trying various things and nothing has worked. Can't find online either.

What are we looking at here? What's going through these tubes to operate the massage feature. compressed air? I have no idea how these things work.

Luxury + here with the same issue. Dealer fixed in 5 minutes. Said the tube popped off and no big deal. Frustrating because it went out ahead of our drive to Colorado and back and my wife was uncomfortable. I realize how privileged that reads!

Purchased my GX550 Overtrail+ last Monday and had it in for Service on Friday for the passenger-side massage seat. Purchased my wife’s GX550 Luxury on Saturday. BOTH are in Service now and they are ordering longer hoses for both. Hose is simply too short and they realized it after fixing mine the first time and it came back loose within a day.

New OT+ less than 3 weeks old.
Drove about 950 miles on it so far. The passenger massage seat stopped working at about 750 miles in.

Took it into the dealer here in NorCal but no luck. Dealer says they've opened a request with Lexus to try to figure out whats happening.
I saw some posts say that this might be an easy fix. Trying to see if I should try to fix it myself or if I should wait for the dealer to get back to me.

Anyone else seeing this issue?
We have had our car for 4 months and just tried using the massage for the first time and it did not work on the passenger side. Overtrail plus

Good to hear Lexus is sourcing a longer hose to fix. Zip tie has held so far. If doing at home it should be added to give a bit more compression to the upper end fitting where gravity wants to allow it to slide off.

Super easy repair - I didn't want to wait for the dealer.... if you want to tackle it on your own, takes 5 mins max. You just need to remove the plastic seat backing.

1) reach under and unhook the elastic hooks and flip the flap up
2) remove 2 screws that are now exposed
3) slide plastic seat backing down
4) reconnect lines that have come disconnected - I zip tied mine to secure them betterView attachment 2150
Worked for me. Thank you!

Great info!
Hooked my OT+ back (675 miles) up today thanks to this group. Exact same fitting was out. Hooked up and voila!
Other notes:
Added a few more pics for backrest -
after bottom screws are out, push backrest then lift up off of bars on seat.

I did not have 1/4 inch tubing but tried to re route hose to get around pinch point a few soft zips should help (see red dots).

Thanks everyone who posted pics - super helpful!

Whelp, 300 miles on our OT+ and it happened to us. Passenger seat massage not working.

This thread is super helpful.

Sounds like the long term solution is a longer hose.

But in the meantime I’ll try and do it myself.

About 300 miles when our passenger side OT+ went out. Dealer fixed in under 1 hr. Known issue. Works fine now.

Thanks for the guidance. My passenger side massaging went out after 700 miles. I secured these hoses with tie wraps. However, from the dash screen controls, power will not respond. Is there a reset or does air need to be purged
