I am looking to get a spacer lift on an overtrail +, looking at Westcott or this set up. One advantage I see over the Westcott is this does not go in line with the spring and thus should not change the ride character and wont limit down travel. Curious if anyone is running this set up and what they think?

I only did the Peak top spacer in the front for a 1.25" lift. My GX still has 1" difference between the rear and the front when measuring from the center of the wheel to the fender.

No change in ride and gave me the mild lift and leveling I was looking for.

Looks good, any reason you opted against doing the rear?

Well executed and looks perfectly leveled! Doubt I’ll level mine but if I do it’ll be front only.

Thanks, your photo convinced me to go with Peak! I had a Westcott kit on order for about 7 weeks and after dealing with their terrible customer service, I cancelled my order and purchased the Peak kit yesterday. Got my tracking today!

Isnt the front top spacer 1.25"? Just want to make sure i'm not missing a product.

The kit arrived yesterday and I threw them on same day. Very happy! Installation was straightforward and ride quality hasn’t changed much. Will be getting an alignment in the next few weeks.

As long as you are planning to stay on road only this is a decent option. You are sacrificing down travel which will have negative effects on ride quality over bumps and potholes. This will be most evident when/if you get off the pavement. I’m not trying to rain on anyone’s parade here, just think it’s useful info for anyone that doesn’t know. These trucks do look better when they sit more level!

Wouldn't top spacers cause a situation of overextended down travel and a higher chance to bottom out the shock without augmented bump tops? I think you lose down travel wth pre-load spring spacers.

I'm probably wrong but , either way, I agree that these types of lifts are for daily driving and not for heavy off-roading as they are more cosmetic than for performance

The stock 2024 OT is 22.5" on the rear and 21" on the front as measured from the center of the wheel hub to the bottom of the fender.

I went with and installed the Westcott design leveling lift in Sept before going to Utah in Oct and I am thrilled with the results and ride. It stiffened up the suspension a tad so it does not feel like it is leaning on corners, turning or when changing lanes. After the install front is 1.5" higher and the back is .75" higher measured from the center of the wheel hub to the lower fender.

The Westcott designs pre-load lift states it is a 2 1/2" lift on the front and a 3/4" lift on the rear with a 1 1/4" preload collar spacer in the front that is mounted on the bottom of the spring on the shock and not on the top of the shock assembly like most spacer lifts do and a 1 inch spacer in the rear that goes on top of the spring.

Westcott Designs has a good post about the different lift options and the plusses and minus of each.

The right lift for your factory suspension
