For family composition reason, I ended up with the Luxury+ with captains chairs (my heart breaks for the MTS and Crawl Control). From looking at the pictures, the captains chair fold down to the same angle as the bench seat. Is there anything else preventing this system from working in a Luxury+? I could probably answer this in my own if I had an OT cargo space to compare in person. Thanks!

We haven't had a chance to dig into the Luxury+ models, which would potentially require some modifications to the existing offering which is based around the OT models.

Does your Luxury+ have the 3rd row?

It does have the auto-folding third row. I'm trying to glimpse the bolt down points from the videos and pictures you have put out, but like I said, I just can't quite tell. Thanks for the fast response and I'll wait patiently to see if it works out!

I'm a few months out from this hitting the top of the "next modifications" list.

Yep! I saw that one! Phenomenal diagram (I truly appreciate your commitment to sharing information with others, it's been a ton of help for us newbies) and that's what got me out to my second/third row to see if it matched. Dimension wise, I think I'm good... but I may be SOL for bolt down/secure points. I'll keep an eye out for their installation instructions and that should solve it for me!

I would think that all GX550s have the same body stamps, meaning the same misc holes that these anchor systems use. But I could be wrong. Your captain's chairs might use different holes that the anchor system needs vs. bench seats. I've never seen the captains chairs in person, sound like a cool setup. I'd prefer that setup if I had a third row.

Yea we're gonna end up with 2 car seats in the captain's chairs, 1/2 third row for the oldest kiddo, other half of the third row for bags/pets as necessary . Packed in!

I have 2 booster seats on the back bench for my 6 and 9 year olds. The niner could ditch the booster but it’s nice for him to be elevated to see more. My 24 year old doesn’t ride with me anymore. She has her own Tacoma.

I built a simple bed platform for the back of my new Overtrail. I used two sheets of 3/8" plywood, and added a couple of 2x3's for support rails. The bed is level and it provides space for storage under the platform. I covered it with black felt, so it looks quite presentable. It's very sturdy, with no flex at all. Best of all, it's very easy to move in and out of the truck as required. I will be testing it out tonight on a trip to Joshua Tree.
